Dance Escape is a one day eisteddfod and as such we have the following limits:
For each section in each age group to go ahead a minimum of 4 troupes is required. If a section cannot go ahead due to low numbers, you will be refunded your entry fee for that section.
Each section will be awarded a prize for First (1st), Second (2nd) and Third (3rd) place and Highly Commended (dependant on troupe entries), as determined by our adjudicator.
All dances will be invited back onstage at the conclusion of each session to hear valuable feedback from our adjudicator and to hear the results. We will be doing this at the end of each session to eusure that we maximize the full day with dancing opportunities for our studios and dancers.

After you have registered your studio and completed the payment for your troupe routines, the Dance Escape team will be in touch with a proposed schedule for performance day.
Studio owners will be required to provide us with a list of your routine names. You will also be required to provide us with a list of student names who are performing in each age group. This needs to be completed by:
Dance Escape – 17 May 2025 – Due Friday 21 March 2025
Each dancer will be required to register for the eisteddfod to participate. This is a very easy process for parents and can be done via an easy to use online link. Dancer registration is $40 and all dancers receive a digital program.
Once our studio owners have completed their online registration we will liaise with the studio directly to help them inform their dancers of the following:
Those dancers who do not register during this time will be unable to participate.
All dancers must complete a Dancer Registration to be eligible to compete in our Dance Escape competition.
Although we have managed our event in the midst of COVID-19 in the past, sometimes circumstances can be taken out of our hands. We will always put the safety of our dancers and their families first.
Due to COVID-19 – If at any point the Government changes the rulings of events, Dance Escape will move venue or reschedule our competition date.
There will be no refunds for events that require a change of date or venue, instead we will transfer funds to our next available event.
Dance Escape aims to provide a fun and friendly dance competition in a professional environment.
Please contact us or visit our website for more details about the venue, workshops, wine tours, accommodation options and other location information.
We ask that each studio bring along 8-10 parent dressers (depending on the amount of students attending) for the duration of your Dance Escape session. The dressers will be allowed access to the auditorium on the day with permission from our staff.
